Kathryn Howard

Kathryn Howard is a graphic and industrial designer living and studying in

Providence, Rhode Island. They have a background in Industrial Design, but

have discovered a deep passion for Graphic Design which they have decided

to commit to for the future, though their Industrial Design training continues

to inform their design decisions.

RISD, On campus — EFS Drawing Teaching Assistant

February 2022 - Present

Gives advice in critique and in class work. Instructs individually

and leads classes in instructor’s absence. Helps students in and

out of class with future planning. Checks student satisfaction

and quality of work. Maintaining studio cleanliness and

organization and organization between EFS staff, EFS faculty,

EFS teaching assistants.

 

RISD, On campus — Student Financial Services Senior Student Liaison

September 2022 - Present

Coaches new employees on protocols and procedures.

Showcases creative and artistic skills through visual graphics,

material critiques, student outreach, and event promotion.

Advocates for the student body on student perspective and

student financials. Leads and delegates tasks. Clearly

communicates and problem solves student questions. Maintain

confidential student records.
